PRINCIPLE: JULIA YOUNG

I started dancing at the age of three years at the Audrey Tutton school of dancing. At 14 I was chosen to atted the Royal Academy of Dancing to study Ballet further and also attended the Royal Academy of Modelling in London where I gained an 'A' grade Diploma.

At 16, I went to Doreen Birds college in Sidcup for three years where I perfoemed in college shows and toured with the theatre workshop group. I gained all my teaching associates then left to work on cruise ships as a dancer Travelling to the West Indies, Caribbean, Puerto Rico, Columbia and Venezuela.

I went on to join a dance troop called the Atlantic show and worked in Athens, Crete, Rhodes, Cyprus (Limasol), Israel (4 months in the North & 4 months in the South). I have danced in pantomimes as a dancer, been a dance Captain, then progressed to Choreographer and Principle dancer. After all the contracts I gained a full equity membership.

I met my husband between travelling and then got married and had my four daughters which most of you may have met. They are now my helpers at the school. I went back to college after daughter number four and achieved higher teaching qualifications that makes me one of the highest qualified teachers in the area and I am currently studying further to gain higher qualifications.

i have been teaching since I was 17 and have taught for many schools in North West Kent and I am extremely happy and proud of the success we have already had at the school.

Thank you everybody for making it possible and for your continued support!
